The design
The pink stays on the page edge and the header pill; the card itself is white so the text is easy to read and cheap to print. Labels are small and rounded, numbers are set in a medium weight so they do not look heavy. There is a line for the event date because most orders of this kind have one.

The sample is a home bakery invoicing a birthday order: a two-tier cake, two dozen cupcakes, thirty name cookies, a stand rental and local delivery, 6% sales tax, and a $100 deposit already paid. The client owes the balance before pickup.

Questions
Is this printable?
Yes. US Letter, 0.5 inch margins. The pink border is light so it prints well on a home inkjet; on a black-and-white printer it comes out as a soft grey edge.
Do I have to charge sales tax on cakes?
It depends on your state and whether the food is prepared for immediate consumption. Check your state rules; if tax does not apply, leave the tax field empty and type the subtotal as the total.
Can I use it as a receipt after they pay?
Write Paid in full and the date in the notes box and send it again. For a separate receipt, the receipt templates on this site use the same fields.
Can I make this on my phone?
Open the PDF in the Files app on an iPhone and type in the fields. The Avo app also makes invoices on the phone with saved items, in its own layout.
