Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark, no limit on the number of invoices. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent to a server. It is published by the makers of the Avo invoice app for iPhone, which adds saved clients, numbering and pay links.
How do I download the invoice as a PDF?
Click “Download PDF”. Your browser's print dialog opens with only the invoice on the page; choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. On an iPhone, use the share icon in the print preview and choose Save to Files.
Where are my details stored?
In this browser's local storage, on your device. Clear the form with the “Clear” button or clear site data in your browser to remove them. Nothing is uploaded.
Can I add my logo?
Not in the browser version. The Word template takes a logo, and the Avo app puts your logo on every document automatically.
Does it calculate tax and deposits?
Yes. Set the tax rate and mark which lines are taxable; enter a deposit already received and the total shows the balance due.
