Questions
Can I make a rent receipt with this?
Yes: put the tenant as the payer, the rental period and unit in the description line, and the method (cash, check number, transfer). For the fields some states require on cash rent receipts, the rent receipt template has them laid out.
How do I show a partial payment?
Enter the amount received as the line, and the full invoice amount in the “invoice total” field; the receipt shows the balance remaining.
Is a receipt from a generator valid?
Yes. A receipt is valid when it says who received the payment, who paid, the date, the amount, the method and what for. This generator puts all of that on the page.
Does it make a fake receipt?
It makes a receipt for a payment you actually received. Issuing a receipt for money you did not receive is fraud; do not do it.
